The 43rd annual Patos Island Race returns March 21–22, 2026, hosted by the Sidney North Saanich Yacht Club and proudly supported by title sponsor Blackline Marine.
The race features three distinct courses designed to challenge skill, strategy, and endurance. The Long Course (~67 NM) and Short Course (~43 NM) are both 24‑hour overnight circumnavigations of Patos Island, made even more exciting by the choice of which direction to round. The Gulf Islands Course (~30 NM) offers a competitive daytime race around fixed marks and islands, targeting a duration of approximately seven hours.
