Entertainment nights are usually held once a month and the entertainment will vary from jazz to soft rock to the ever popular jamming sing alongs.

Several weekend rendezvous are arranged to local and US marinas and parks each season. These are primarily social events, staying at a single location. 

From October through April, walkers, dogs, friends, and family explore Greater Victoria. The walks are a chance to keep up with old friends, make new ones and get some exercise in the bargain.  And, many of the walks end close to the clubhouse so that the walkers can recover over a pick-me-up!

An opportunity to meet and mingle with new members and enjoy the food, drink and camaraderie. 

Join the long flotilla cruise during June and July to areas such as Puget Sound, the Broughtons, Desolation Sound, Haida Gwaii, or even around Vancouver Island. The summer flotilla cruise in late July to early August visits various locations in the southern Gulf Islands while early September finds the fall flotilla in the San Juan Islands or the Vancouver area.

Usually held monthly throughout the year, volunteers are encouraged to show up to help spruce up the club, tidy the grounds, and generally help out with whatever needs doing. Besides "doing your bit", your contributions are vital to the success of the club and it is a great way to make new friends. 

A variety of education programs are arranged in the club's meeting rooms and include diesel maintenance, first aid for boaters, weather prediction, radio operation, pleasure craft operation, etc. 

Enjoy reciprocal arrangements at over 100 local yacht clubs. Reciprocal clubs provide free or heavily discounted moorage for a day or two every year and access to their clubhouse, and we similarly welcome those visiting our club.
