2026-27 Executive Call for Volunteers / Nominations

We are searching for some new members to be on our executive team. At the SGM, the Nominating Committee Chair will propose the slate for the 2026-2027 Executive. 

1. Racing Captain. The Racing Captain is responsible for promoting racing activities for the Club by forming and chairing the Racing Committee, directing its operations, and being responsible for the Committee’s actions to the Executive.

2. Cruising Captain.  The Cruising Captain is responsible for promoting and organizing club cruises and related social activities. This involves forming and chairing the Cruising Committee, directing its operations, and reporting back to the Executive. While individual volunteers can manage the detailed organization of each specific cruise, your oversight, advice, and assistance will be essential to their success. Our current Cruising Captain, Don Craigmyle would like to help the next Cruising Captain transition into the position and will continue to provide support and mentoring throughout the year, as required or desired, to ensure a complete turnover.
