VOLUNTEER WORK PARTY

VOLUNTEER WORK PARTY: MAY 2ND: PREPARE CLUBHOUSE AND GROUNDS FOR OPENING DAY ON SATURDAY

With Opening Day on this coming Saturday, we need to get the clubhouse and grounds looking shipshape for the event. There is lots to do:

·      Wash the carpets in the dining area, the bar and the stairs up to the main floor

·      Vacuum the stairs and the top floor

·      Wipe down the staircase railings and steps where needed

·      Wash windows inside and out

·      Tidy up the bookshelves

·      Clean the area outside the main entrance

·      Clear any debris from the driveway

·      Sweep any detritus off the deck and walkway

·      Tidy up the seating under the tent

·      Wipe down the easy chairs and coffee tables in the bar area

·      Weeds removed from the planted areas along the driveway and overlooking the shoreline

·      Wipe down all of the windowsills, shelves, etc

·      Take down any cobwebs around the entrance and hanging off any of the burgees

·      Set up blue folding chairs on the lawn overlooking the deck

·      Bring outside stereo system down from upstairs.

·       

And, remember: we’ll start at 1000, be finished around noon and there’ll be lunch provided.  So that we know how much food to get in would you please let Adrian know by emailing him no later than Thursday at volunteer@snsyc.ca
