Arrival Friday May 9th Have a BYO Appy to share at the Welcome Party on the dock 4-6pm. Prosecco provided by the yacht club.
Tour Day May 10th - Start time 11am - Pick up at Marina
We have 4 delicious stops planned for the day. Select all you want to do. We will be escorted around by Freedom Adventure Tours – Bus cost per person is included in registration fee:) If happy with the service feel free to tip our driver.
Registration is capped at 20 persons, the capacity of the bus. If any seats are available after April 24, registration will be offered to Social Members who may be picked up Saturday morning at SNSYC. Those members will pay the same fee plus their ferry fare. Bus costs are fixed, we will not be able to grant refunds for this event.
Tour Stops – Take part in each one as you wish.
1) Kutatas Winery - Tasting fee $15 for 5 wines
2) Salt Spring Island Cheese - Tasting - a self guided tour available, that passes around our cheesery and showcases the cheese-making process. We will also provide samples of our cheese in our retail shop and tasting room (complementary). LUNCH - on the beautiful grounds of the SSI cheese factory. Price $25-$30 PP - more info closer to date
3) Salt Spring Island Brewing - offer flights for $14, pints and glasses. They also have cider for those non beer drinkers.
4) Garry Oak Winery - Tasting fee $10 PP
This is Four Stop Tour different from other tours as it is a la Carte style. This is a nice option for those who do not like beer and only want to taste wine and cheese or for those who do not want to partake in the wine tastings and only want to taste beer and cheese. It is a pay as you go.
Saturday 6:00 PM - Group Dinner at Moby’s Pub - Booked Departure Day Sunday 11am to allow those to get home to Celebrate Mother’s Day.
