"Festive Lighted Boat Cruise"
SNSYC encourages you to spread Christmas Spirit by lighting your boat.  Any lights will do, it does not need to be fancy.
Port Sidney will welcome lighted ships December 16 to 18 with free moorage December 16 & 17 for lighted ships.  Register first on-line with Port Sidney.  (https://www.portsidney.com/reservations)  Type "Sailpast" in the on-line message box.  
Secondly, register here on this page so we know who may be taking part.  Lighted ships will be able to move from NSM to Port Sidney and return safely in daylight.  A festive atmosphere and hot apple cider is promised by Port Sidney. 
For skippers who wish and weather permitting, the SNSYC Cruising Captain will lead a SailPast off Sidney about 6 pm December 17.  When you also register at SNSYC please give your name, boat name, and contact information.  If the Sailpast is possible, RCMSAR will attend to assist.  SV Alika is prepared to lead the parade from Port Sidney toward Bazan Bay and return.  When we are sure that the weather will allow the SailPast to occur, it will be advertised on social media."  
December 16 - depart NSM early afternoon and follow directions given by Port Sidney for mooring.  No-host dinner location to be determined by registered participants.
December 17 - free day in Sidney, SailPast boats depart PS marina at 6:00 pm,  celebration to follow on SV Alika, (or Rumrunner or alternate, depending on numbers)
December 18 - Return your gate key fob, Depart Marina by noon
